Die Legende - Traumrad im kompletten Originalzustand 

Ernesto Colnago brachte 1983 den ersten Master Rahmen als neues Spitzenmodell auf den Markt.Ab ´83 würde er in fünf verschiedenen Variationen gebaut. (Master 1983, Master Più 1988, Master Olympic 1991, Master Light 1994 und Master X-Light 1998). Auch heute hat Colnago wieder einen Master aus Stahl im Programm. Der Master löste ´83 den bis dato führenden "Super" ab. Besonders bahnbrechend war der nun nicht mehr runde, sondern kantige "Gilco" Rohrsatz. Ernesto Colnago war und ist immer wieder für eigenes Design und neue Wege bekannt. Gilco ist eine Abkürzung, welche für Gilberto Colombo steht. Gilberto Colombo war ein italienischer Designer und hat Designs für Autos, Segelboote und Häuser entworfen. Zudem soll die Form des Rohres zu einer besseren Stabilität / Steifheit des Rahmens beitragen.

Dieser Master hier ist aus der 2. Generation und in den Farben des Team "Del Tongo" lackiert. "Del Tongo - Colnago" ist eines der erfolgreichsten italienischen Teams, sie waren von 1982 bis 1991 im Peloton zu finde. Viele, sehr berühmte Fahrer waren auf den legendären Colnago Maschinen unterwegs. So fuhren beispielsweise G.Saronni,D.Thurau, M.Cipollini, M.Fondriest, F.Ballerini mit den typischen gelben Trikots. 1987 und 1988 fuhr das gesamte Team auf exakt diesen Colnago Master-Rädern mit Campagnolo C Record Ausstattung . Die sogenannte "Retinato" Lackierung ist einfach ein Traum. Die Züge verlaufen bei diesem Rahmen schon im Oberrohr, die Ausfallenden stammen aber noch von Campagnolo. Dieser Master in dem typischen "Saronni Rot" ist einfach ein absolutes Kunstwerk.

Komplett mit der besten Gruppe der damaligen Zeit, der Campagnolo C- Record inkl. der Delta Bremsen aufgebaut. 3ttt pantographierter Vorbau, originaler Rolls Sattel und das originale, glänzende Bike Ribbon Lenkerband sowie die NOS Clement Reifen runden diese Teammaschine ab. Der Laufradsatz ist sogar neu und ungefahren.

Das Rad ist in einem tollen Zustand mit nur wenigen Gebrauchsspuren - zum Fahren fast zu schade - einfach ein Stück Kunst der italienischen Radsportgeschichte. Wer das Rad trotzdem fahren möchte, der bekommt auf einer L'Eroica sicher neidische Blicke, (Dazu müssten die Bremszüge allerdings außen verlegt sein ;-). Wer schon immer mal das beste Material aus den Achtzigern fahren wollte, wer ein Kunstwerk für die Wand haben möchte, der bekommt mit diesem Colnago Master Del Tongo sein Traumrad.

The legend - dream bike in complete original condition

Ernesto Colnago launched the first Master frame in 1983 as a new top model.From '83 it would be built in five different variations. (Master 1983, Master Più 1988, Master Olympic 1991, Master Light 1994 and Master X-Light 1998). Today, Colnago once again has a steel Master in its lineup. The Master replaced the hitherto leading "Super" in '83. Particularly groundbreaking was the now no longer round, but angular "Gilco" tube set. Ernesto Colnago was and is always known for his own design and new ways. Gilco is an abbreviation which stands for Gilberto Colombo. Gilberto Colombo was an Italian designer and has created designs for cars, sailboats and houses. In addition, the shape of the tube is said to help improve the stability / rigidity of the frame.

This master here is from the 2nd generation and painted in the colors of the team "Del Tongo". "Del Tongo - Colnago" is one of the most successful Italian teams, they were found in the peloton from 1982 to 1991. Many, very famous riders were on the legendary Colnago machines. For example, G.Saronni,D.Thurau, M.Cipollini, M.Fondriest, F.Ballerini rode with the typical yellow jerseys. In 1987 and 1988 the whole team rode on exactly these Colnago Master bikes with Campagnolo C Record equipment. The so-called "Retinato" paint job is simply a dream. The cables run in this frame already in the top tube, but the dropouts are still from Campagnolo. This Master in the typical "Saronni Red" is simply an absolute work of art.

Completely built with the best group of the time, the Campagnolo C- Record including the Delta brakes. 3ttt pantographed stem, original Rolls saddle and original shiny Bike Ribbon handlebar tape and NOS Clement tires round out this team machine. The wheelset is even new and unridden.

The bike is in great condition with only a few signs of use - almost too bad to ride - simply a piece of art of Italian cycling history. Who wants to ride the wheel anyway, which gets on a L'Eroica certainly envious looks, (For this, however, the brake cables would have to be routed outside ;-). Who always wanted to ride the best material from the eighties, who wants to have a work of art for the wall, who gets his dream bike with this Colnago Master Del Tongo.
